For employees and technical teams
Cybersecurity training for employees
Help people spot a fraudulent message and know what to do next. Using examples from everyday work, we cover phishing, passwords and data protection. We agree the content around participants’ experience and the situations they encounter.
Discuss a training sessionWhat the training covers
We choose topics that are useful to your team. Training can be an introduction for employees or a technical workshop for more experienced participants.
Phishing and fraudulent messages
How to spot a suspicious email, link or request for sensitive information. Why attackers create pressure and how to verify a request through another channel.
Passwords and access
How to use password managers and multifactor authentication, and handle access safely. What to do if you suspect an account has been compromised.
Data handling and incident reporting
How to think about sharing sensitive information and when to be cautious. How to report a suspicious situation to the responsible person in your organisation.
What participants take away
- Examples of warning signs in fraudulent messages and ways to verify a request.
- Practical approaches to passwords, access and sensitive data.
- An opportunity to try the situations discussed and ask questions from their own work.
How we prepare the training
Understand the team’s needs
We discuss participants’ roles, experience and the situations you want to address. We can also build on your experience with an incident or phishing.
Agree content and format
We choose topics, depth, duration and location. A technical workshop and introductory employee training have different goals.
Work through practical examples
We combine explanations with demonstrations and exercises. Participants can ask questions and relate the situations to their own work.
Choose the next steps
We discuss which topics need more attention and how they can connect to your internal procedures or further learning.
We teach what we practise
ENGETO
An ongoing collaboration in cybersecurity education, including teaching Ethical Hacking academies.
Workshops and talks
We run practical workshops and educate schools and the public. Our references page includes feedback from participants.
Training and phishing simulations
We also run simulated phishing campaigns. An agreed campaign can show how people respond to fraudulent messages and help choose training topics. We agree the scope, rules and evaluation method beforehand.
Common questions
Is the training suitable for people without technical knowledge?
Yes. Introductory employee training starts with everyday work situations and clear explanations. We agree the content and depth around the participants.
Can you prepare a workshop for a technical team?
We also run practical ethical hacking workshops. Tell us about the team’s experience and what they want to learn; together we will choose suitable topics and a format.
How long is a session and how much does it cost?
Duration and price depend on the topics, participant numbers and format. Send us an outline of the team and your preferred timing. We agree the content, duration and price beforehand.
Does every training session include a phishing simulation?
Training and simulations are separate activities that can be combined. When arranging the engagement, we decide whether a simulation helps meet your goal and how to evaluate it.
What does your team need to learn?
Tell us who the training is for, how many people will attend and which situations you want to address. We will agree suitable topics and the next steps.
Discuss a training sessionDo you also need to test an application or network?
Application and infrastructure penetration testing
